You will be surprised to know that even with living in Southern Nevada- I struggled with the prompt of Warmth. It just wasn't coming to me this time. So I started going through the archives (meaning the last month of pics because I already transferred the rest off to the external) and started getting a little more feel for the Warmth.
There were these recent sunsets- Warmth in both feel & color
Then the comfort of a freshly baked warm chocolate chip cookie
and the warmth of the sun on my feet
But I still wasn't really feeling the whole vibe yet. Then we went on our walk to get the birthday pics done & I captured this. I love that warm sun- you know- the kind that you get at around 4pm- when it's absolutely perfectly glowing. It was great to just sit there & let it shine on me while I snapped away.
and just when I thought I was going to call it good with this post...... my InStyle magazine arrived in the mail. It's my most favorite of all my 40+ subscriptions & when it arrives I look forward to a quiet moment after the kids are in bed to curl up in my chair- throw on a nice WARM comforter to take the chill off & stick my nose in this fabulous collection of all things fashion & just escape. This is truly my "me" time above & beyond anything else.

oh my how fun fun fun! I think you captured this prompt word SO WELL! I love the wheat/grass picture. That literally feels warm to look at. The cozied up blanket picture is so warm and so me:). And baking cookies...warm and delicious!! The skies are just plain gorgeous. Great job Gina!

You found some great shots, very warm indeed. I'm loving that sunshine in the last one, and those skies are just amazing! We had a sunset similar to your second one last Monday and I totally missed it with no camera on hand. Bummer.
I also really struggled with this prompt, particularly since it's so much warmer here than winters past. No scarves or gloves or cocoa. But it's not summer warm if you know what I mean. I think you found some beautiful examples for warmth. Really love the sunsets and that last one of you is a perfect last minute addition. Sometimes it's the little things that warm my heart the most.
