Self Portrait
I have to say- if it were not for the lovely Elena & her hosting Selfie Saturday's for so many weeks- I would have never done this one. I would have posted a shot of my toes or something. But fortunately- I have learned through much self reflection & learning to accept myself for me- that I no longer worry about taking a self portrait. I went many years without getting in a photo. I now believe that - I'm not getting any younger- so I better capture myself while I am still this age. My children will appreciate it one day. Besides- there is always the delete button & let me tell you- that is very liberating. (I also used this as an opportunity to capture this lovely sweater my mom sent me. I love it) Thanks mom!

Very beautiful. I know what you mean though. For a long time, I had a hard time capturing any photos of myself. I thought they were all bad. The photos are wonderful. I hope you got to catch my latest Fun Food Friday
