Project 366 Rewind- The Pre-Launch

Thank you so much for joining Sarah & I & we hope you all had a great week! 

So- here's the deal.  In all the nuttiness of planning the launch of this new daily/weekly challenge during the week before Christmas- we didn't quite plan it out right.  Here I was- all planned out to launch Project 366 Rewind today.  I then started going through my list of past posts & it hit me- this past Saturday would be the final week of 2011 for project 365 with Sarah.  Duh!!!!!  That means that Project 366 Rewind would start officially on January 9th with the prompt of Fresh Start- recapping January 1st-7th.

So here's what we are going to do- go ahead & link up today with what you have prepared.  We will just call it a Pre-launch post day.  :)  Then next week we will meet back here again for the official launch & share our photos from the 1st week of January! Sound Good??  So here is my short recap from Sunday.

With all these changes & new things going on- like most people I started thinking about resolutions & what I want to be different a year from now when I am looking back. My resolutions for this year- the big one will probably be same as last year...try to blog every day.  For 2011 I was able to complete 404 posts- which makes me happy because I didn't actually get consistent on posting daily until February or March.  I definitely want to keep that up for 2012.  Other than that- we will be starting school again tomorrow after being off since mid October.  Life is going to be a bit nutty around here again- so hang in there while I try to settle into a new routine again.  ALSO- Here is a collage of my favorite SOOC shots to close out Shoot & Edit.  That weekly party is coming to an end today- so I made this collage into a giant button- so you can click on over & visit everyone too. 

All of these are my favorite SOOC's of the year.  I have learned so much from Jill & Ashley!

The Scoop on Project 366 Rewind

Sarah & I will now be your gracious hosts of the new Project 366 Rewind!!  (Yes you read that right - 366- it’s a leap year) Each Monday we will post our photos from the previous week- only there will be a twist.  We will be adding the fun of a prompt or two each week to give you all a little added motivation & inspiration to get out there & take some pics every day.  Not all 7 photos have to follow the prompt- but we encourage you to try to include the prompt in at least 1.  You also don’t have to post 7 pics each week - but as many as you can is always a good thing. It is a great way to practice & get to know your camera.  

We also have a Flickr group set up for those of you that want to contribute that way. Additionally- on the last Monday post of the month you can post your favorite photo from that month (in addition to your week of photos) for a chance to win a prize.  To kick it off right- the first prize of the year will be a Camera Strap from my personal line Stylish Beach Bum.  Those of you that are super creative & have your own merchandise in your own shops- please contact either Sarah or myself if you would like to sponsor a prize package.  I have also added the new button to my buttons page & my sidebar- so you can grab it as needed when setting up your post for next week.
