A Little Turkey & Christmas Prep

For all you shoppers- don't forget yourselves this holiday!

Monday I shared with you this ridiculous plate of food I sat down with on Thanksgiving. For those of you that didn't read that post- I didn't actually eat it all. Only about half & the rest went to the kids for their seconds.  I really didn't do much to the image. If you hover over you can see that the original was a bit grainy from the ISO being set at I think 800 because the room was not adequately lit. So I adjusted the brightness & contrast & clarity, ran an action to give it some pop & sharpened.  That's really all it needed.

I also spent a good amount of time this past weekend working on the Christmas cards. My orders from Shutterfly & Tiny Prints came in & let me tell you- I love them.  While I think the Tiny Prints cards are FAR better than the ones from Shutterfly- I can't really tell you for sure because I didn't order the equivalent price point from each.  The ones from Shutterfly are more middle of the road & the ones from Tiny Prints are on the higher end.  I have to tell you- if you can swing the cost- it is TOTALLY worth it to go with the ones from Tiny Prints.  I love them!  This is the first time I have every been over the moon for my Christmas cards.  I will be sending the cards out to everyone this week- so I will finally be able to share the images on them with you by Monday.

I used tiny prints last year and they were the nicest cards I've ever sent. I haven't even taken pics for this year's card. I need to get on it!

Hmmm Tiny Prints, eh?
I might have to try that for next year. I ordered all mine from Shutterfly and was a bit dissapointed in how they turned out. Can't wait to see what you came up with!

Kudos to you for working on your Christmas cards *before* the middle on December! We haven't decided whether we're going to make some or not - I'd like to, but it's also a lot of work!
